Perla SegoviaI have always been a very curious person and that has played a big part in my artistic development. What I enjoy most about my work is the fact that every piece I make inspires me to do another one. Consequently, each piece of art I create becomes part of an endless chain reaction that sparks my curiosity and love for color and technique. My professional training is in textile design, I hold a Bachelors of Science in Textile Technology from North Carolina State University. I also hold a fashion degree from Istituto Callegari in Italy. Furthermore, I have trained in the art of glass fusing and it is in this wonderfully manipulative medium where I incorporate my knowledge of weaving and patternmaking to make woven glass sculptures.
